Nigel Owens MBE visits Hampshire!

On Sunday 27th of January, our YMO’s has a day to remember when they volunteered to be Assistant Referees for one of the world’s finest Referees, Nigel Owens MBE. Nigel has kindly agreed to come down to Hampshire and referee the Ben Smith Memorial game between King Edwards School and a Trojans Select XV, firstly to remember Ben who was taken from us far too early, but also to raise much needed funds for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Nigel also took time out of his busy schedule to spend 15 minutes with those Hampshire Referees in attendance for a Q&A session, for which we were all most grateful for.
